Our experienced teaching staff come from diverse backgrounds of ministry and missionary experience. It is not only their academic expertise which will stretch and deepen your biblical thinking, it is their life experience 'on the field' that provides application to what they teach.
Many faculty also live on or near campus, modelling what they teach in their lives and their relationships. SMBC fosters and encourages faculty towards ongoing research, writing and learning. Together with different church affiliations, they are representative of the interdenominational nature of the College.
Lecturers are available, as a high priority, for consultation on study, spiritual or personal matters among their various responsibilities. They share morning tea and lunch with students to maximise available time for fruitful discussion and development of relationships.
