Prior to SMBC:
Janet studied veterinary science at the University of Sydney and worked in private rural practice for nine years and short term in Ethiopia. After three and a half years of theological study at SMBC Janet commenced working for the College in a pastoral capacity while serving on the ministry team at Randwick Presbyterian Church, working especially among women and children. In 2008, Janet joined the faculty at SMBC on a full time basis.

Academic Interests:
The theology and practice of expository preaching, NT Greek as a tool to slow us down and listen well to God.
Personal:
Janet is part of Abbotsford Presbyterian Church. She enjoys spending time with her family, visiting friends in the country, kayaking, furniture restoration, photography, exploring farmer’s markets and learning to play tennis.
