Kathy Grudier

Kathy became a disciple of Christ during her university years and became passionate about the redeeming heart of God for all nations with her husband Ed during their early married life.

After a time of preparation and earning a Master’s degree in Intercultural Studies, she served with Ed in Central Asia for 12 years.  While enjoying being a mum with two children, Kathy led women in learning to love God and His Word, coming alongside them in the realities of life as they walked with Jesus. She grew to love the communal culture and team dynamic of ministry. Then her heart for global missions and discipling women was developed in new ways as a pastor’s wife for fourteen years at a church in Northern Virginia, USA.

Now in the SMBC community, Kathy loves the mutual encouragement of faith and life transformation that fuels the spread of the gospel to those who have yet to hear.
