Course Overview

The SMBC Introductory Certificate in Christian Studies (ICCS) is ideal for those who want to deepen their biblical knowledge and grow their faith without the need for an Australian University of Theology (AUT) award.

The ICCS requires a total of 192 hours of study at certificate level and is for part-time students only. There is no maximum time limit in which to complete it. Students may enrol in up to 72 hours of subjects in a semester (6 hours per week).

This course is very flexible and may be completed entirely via evening lectures if preferred. There is a wide range of subject choices, however we recommend starting with a similar list to that covered by the SMBC Diploma of Theology or Diploma of Ministry.

Note: Because the ICCS is not an AUT accredited course, FEE-HELP is not available.
