SMBC 2022 Missions Week

SMBC 2022 Missions Week

TOPIC: 'Bringing the Light'
WHEN: Tuesday 3 - Thursday 5 May + Global Missions Forum, Friday 6 May 2022
WHERE: SMBC Croydon Campus, 43 Badminton Road, Croydon 2132
WHO: All those who want to grow their understanding and passion for God's mission

It’s the heart and expertise of SMBC to prepare people for all kinds of cross-cultural mission. Every second year the SMBC community sets aside the regular timetable to devote several days to better understanding God's mission. Missions Week is an opportunity for contemporary missions issues to be explored and discussed in depth, and in community.

Missions Week is designed primarily for our students, but we warmly invite anyone who has a heart for mission to join us and be ‘part of the family’ – for the whole time or just a day or two. Perhaps you’re an SMBC graduate, a missionary candidate, a missions rep, a missions pastor, a church planter, or perhaps you’re simply someone who wants to grow your love and understanding of God’s mission to his people. You’re all welcome to join us!

The plenary speakers will be David Williams and Omar Djoeandy. There’ll also be workshops, panels and presentations by Derek Brotherson, Anna Brotherson, Christine Dillon, Barb Geddes, Ed Grudier, Kathy Grudier, Evelyn Hibbert, Allison Howell, Dick McLellan, Ruth Myors, Ben Powell, Perry Shaw, Tim Silberman and more…

More information and registration will be available soon!

The Global Missions Forum (GMF), is a day-long forum to bring the missions community together. It will be held at SMBC on Friday 6 May and the theme will be 'Serving as Senders'.

This event is run by Missions Interlink and will be available on-campus and online.
