Course and Enrolment Advisor - Student Services Team

We’re seeking a passionate and organised Course and Enrolment Advisor to join our Student Services team. In this role, you'll be the initial point of personal contact for most prospective students and play a key role in guiding prospective and current students through their studies at SMBC, ensuring a smooth and supportive experience. 

From undergraduate to postgraduate and doctoral studies, SMBC's our mission is to create learning communities through which God prepares his people – theologically, practically, and spiritually – to serve Jesus in diverse contexts and cultures.

What you'll do:  

• Be a warm and welcoming ambassador for SMBC, answering enquiries and providing course information to prospective students.  
• Assist students in selecting courses that align with their ministry goals and academic background.  
• Manage student applications and enrolment processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.  
• Support enrolled students with ongoing course selection and academic progress.  
• Represent SMBC at events and conferences, engaging with future students.  
• Contribute to documentation and administrative processes that allow SMBC to plan and deliver courses.  
• Have a fantastic time being a part of the SMBC community and enjoy fellowship together!   

To be a suitable for this role you’ll be:  

• A committed Christian with a heart for ministry and a passion for supporting others.   
• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.  
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with a proven ability to patiently manage multiple tasks effectively.  
• Proficient in computer software and systems, with a willingness to learn new technologies.  
• A team player with a positive and flexible approach to work.  
• Having experience in service or a related field, along with a theological degree, is advantageous.

Commencement Date:
