Chris Conyers is the Senior Minister of Newport Anglican Church. He grew up in Wagga Wagga, then moved to Sydney to study Engineering. While studying, he met his now-wife Susan, with whom he has five children. He decided to enter vocational ministry while living in Laos.
He has worked in churches in Narellan (in Southwest Sydney) and Ashbury (in the Inner West), as an Aged Care Chaplain, and has taught Greek and New Testament at SMBC and Moore College. He is currently writing an introduction to the book of Romans. He enjoys bushwalking, watching cricket, and reading epic fantasy series.
