Between Rescue and Home: Preaching Discipleship from the Book of Deuteronomy
Between judgement and salvation. Between promise and fulfillment. Between rescue and home. That’s where we are. On the edge of the promised land, God’s people are called to choose life and walk in obedience. It’s a call to discipleship – to love God with all their heart and soul and strength.
At the 2020 Preaching Conference we explored the powerful relevance of the Book of Deuteronomy for our churches today. The conference is held by the SMBC Centre for Preaching and Pastoral Ministry every two years.
