‘Badminton Road’ is a group of SMBC students, alumni and staff who record and share songs to magnify Jesus and bless his church around the world.
We hope their music encourages you to live and proclaim the good news of Christ – to “declare His glory among the nations, His marvellous deeds among all peoples” (Psalm 96:3).
All proceeds from EP sales go towards SMBC’s 100 for 100 scholarship program – so that more men and women without access to suitable theological education in their local overseas context can be equipped to handle God’s word and nurtured to pastor and disciple more effectively. Thank you!
A Mighty Fortress (2024)
As part of a graduate reunion in 2024, some of the original 2019 ‘Badminton Road’ band got back together and, along with some new band members, recorded a new song – ‘A Mighty Fortress’. This ‘battle cry of the Reformation’ by Martin Luther reminds us of the spiritual battle that’s waged around us, the wonderful truth that Jesus is the Lord of Hosts who fights on our side, and calls us to give our lives in service of our Mighty Fortress.
