Diploma of Ministry (Pathway 2) (DipMin(P2))

Admission requirements: ATAR of 65+ or Mature Age Entry (21yr+)


The DipMin(P2) suits those requiring some foundational biblical and theological education to serve in a local church, or to use their existing profession or trade on the mission field. It contains units of study which provide an overview of the Bible, Church History and Theology, as well as Ministry and Practice electives.


This is a 1 year full-time or maximum 4 year part-time course.

Admission Requirements

The satisfactory completion of Year 12 (with an ATAR of at least 65) in an Australian school system or equivalent, is a prerequisite for entry into this course. However, if you have not completed Year 12, mature age entry (21 and above) will be favourably considered. There may be English proficiency prerequisites if your first language is not English.

Credit Points

The DipMin(P2) requires the completion of 32 credit points at 300-400 level (8 undergraduate level units).

Of Note

This course can be completed entirely by evening lectures, including at our Northern Beaches Centre.

This course may also be completed by intensive mode study

Credit gained from the DipMin (P2) can be transferred towards the Associate Degree of Ministry or the Bachelor of Theology within 10 years of completion.
