Mission Perspectives (EM201)

2018 Semester 2 Tuesday + Wednesday Daytime Unit

God has a global mission! And that means that we, as God’s people, also have a mission. But to know how we fit in, we need to understand what God has done, is doing and will do. This subject explores God’s mission by looking at the Bible, the history of mission since Jesus, the impact of culture on mission, the role of the local church and the various strategies we can use. Our hope and prayer is that this deeper understanding will grip our minds and hearts and that we will all be better prepared to find our place in God’s mission.
