Jesus: The Perfect High Priest

What we need most is a cure for sin. What will solve our greatest human problem is to be reconnected to, instead of socially distant from God. The solution God provides is a priest because it’s a priest’s job to reconnect sinful men and women to God. But it can’t be just any priest. Hebrews 7 says we need a perfectly qualified priest to effect a perfect salvation by his perfect sacrifice. This priest alone is qualified to solve the problem of sin.
