SMBC welcomes both residential and non-residential students. Prospective students requesting residential accommodation are strongly advised to apply to the college as early as possible in the preceding year to avoid disappointment.
Single rooms are modern, clean and bright. Rooms are furnished with a bed, pillow, desk and wardrobe. Students supply their own bed linen and towels. While meals are provided in the dining room during semesters, common rooms include a kitchenette with refrigerator, microwave and tea and coffee making facilities. While the majority of rooms are single, a small number of students are allocated shared rooms which may be rotated each semester.
