Courses

From undergraduate diplomas through to postgraduate research degrees, whether full-time or part-time, SMBC offers academic depth with flexibility.  All our courses have solid biblical foundations and preparation for ministry, but each course has different requirements and emphasis. All courses are Australian College of Theology (ACT) courses, except for the Certificate in Bible and Mission (CBM) and the Introductory Certificate in Christian Studies (ICCS), which are SMBC awards.

Note: Other courses, than those listed below, that SMBC is accredited by the ACT to offer are: Diploma of Ministry, Diploma of Christian Studies, Advanced Diploma of Ministry, Advanced Diploma of Theology, Associate Degree of Theology, Bachelor of Ministry (Hons), Bachelor of Theology (Hons), Bachelor of Theology/Bachelor of Ministry, Graduate Certificate of Divinity, Master of Arts (Christian Studies), Master of Ministry and Master of Divinity/Graduate Diploma of Divinity.

Graduate Certificate of Christian Mentoring

Australian College  of Theology Award Admission requirements: A bachelor degree or equivalent + 1 year of theological study at AQF 5

The Graduate Certificate of Christian Mentoring is a coursework certificate supporting professional skills and practice and/or further study and scholarship. Its purpose is to provide advanced knowledge and skills for a professional ministry as a Christian mentor.
