Mission Perspectives

SMBC Certificate, on-campus

SEMESTER 2 2024
Thursday Daytime Unit
CM07

God has a global mission! And that means that we, as God’s people, also have a mission. But to know how we fit in, we need to understand what God has done, is doing and will do.

This unit explores God’s mission by looking at the Bible, the history of mission since Jesus, the impact of culture on mission, the role of the local church and the various strategies we can use. Our hope and prayer is that this deeper understanding will grip our minds and hearts and that we will all be better prepared to find our place in God’s mission.
