Certificate of Bible and Ministry (CBM)
The CBM is an SMBC award that all full-time SMBC students study concurrently with their ACT course. The award is made up of a number of subjects and participation in the community life at College.
Your certificate subjects will vary depending on the ACT course in which you are enrolled, and usually includes some elective choices. In most cases, the CBM includes a combination of subjects drawn primarily from the areas of biblical studies, mission, preaching, ethics and pastoral/and developmental ministry. Satisfactory participation in college community includes being present in lectures, chapels, college mission, fellowship and prayer groups, as well as a local church.
As per your ACT course
Students must be enrolled full-time in an ACT course to start this certificate
The CBM is recognised by many churches and mission organisations as one of SMBC's distinctive features of training for ministry.
