Diploma of Theology (Pathway 1) (DipTh(P1))
The DipTh(P1) will suit anyone who is looking to be better equipped to serve in a local church as a Bible study leader, youth or children’s leader, or lay preacher. This course is only available to part-time students. It provides a broad understanding of the Bible, church history and theology as well as the option of choosing a couple of ministry and missions units.
This is a part-time course with no maximum time limit.
The satisfactory completion of Year 12 in an Australian school system, or equivalent, is a prerequisite for entry into this course. However, if you have not completed Year 12, mature age entry (20 and above) will be favourably considered. There may be English proficiency prerequisites if your first language is not English.
The DipTh(P1) requires the completion of 48 credit points at 200 level (12 undergraduate level units).
